The Convener of the Business Committee is Mr Arthur Priestly, tel. 01324 557142, e-mail business@falkirkpresbytery.org and the Committee is normally serviced by the Presbytery Clerk. The Committee's remit is to meet about two weeks before Presbytery meets and consider the business to be put before Presbytery, deal with any urgent matters, nominate the moderator, additional elders, conveners and committees. The Committee receives reports from its sub-Committees, called "Committees", each with its own Chair (use the "Committees" tab on the Menu for details) and forms a point of contact for such diverse roles as the Presbytery Chaplain and the webmaster.
