The Leader of the Mission Division is Rev Helen Christie, tel. 01324 813786. The Division is convened as required, by the Leader, and exists to promote the concept of the local missionary Church, including Summer Missions work and work in Urban Priority Areas; and to promote the use of materials provided by the Mission & Discipleship Council.

The Mission and Discipleship Council need your help. The members and staff would like to increase their understanding of what 'mission' means in today's context and how it could be done better both at national and local levels.
Please engage with the Council through www.bigblether.net and help us all gain a better sense of the way forward for mission in the 21st century. We are consulting with as many people as possible and this part of the process will end on 30 September 2011.
