The Leader of the Congregational Development Division is Mrs Marjory Williamson, tel. 01236 614415. The full remit of the Division can be found by looking at the "Handbook" tab on the Menu, but in short the Division's purpose is to respond to approaches from congregations or other committees, introduce the appropriate personnel to meet the need expressed by or within the congregation, and to follow up results. The Division will also provide assistance to Kirk Sessions on studying teamwork, vision and the role of the elder, formulating a vision for the congregation, carrying out a church or mission audit, and encouraging elders to prepare reports for Kirk Sessions.
